CONGRATULATIONS:
Jeff Gray & Ricky Talbert
** Southwestern Va Bassmasters held their 6th tournament of the year,
at
Smith Mtn Lake. It was the first of 3 night tournaments in a row...

--There were 12 boats, with a total of 169.89lbs caught...   The evening
started out with some light rain and then turned absolutely beautiful
for the rest of the tournament !!!!



Results are as follows:


Ricky Talbert and Jeff Gray win the tournament with a combined weight of
20.74lbs. Ricky also caught the big smallmouth of the tourney that
weighed
3.19lbs.. Good Job Guys -- Great Payday !!

Second Place was T.J. Teany and Andy Martin with 20.69lbs. I'm not
going to do the math there, but that's real close.

Third Place -- Jeff Hale
and Greg Peters with 19.06lbs.. These guys are
not going away.... They put the pressure on, every tournament.... Good Job
Guys, keep it up !!!!

Brian Dobbins caught and weighed the big fish of the tournament --- A
5.60lb largemouth and took home 2 good paychecks... Congrats Brian !!!

Note: Greg and Jeff still have a 20+lb advantage over the rest of the
field !!!

EMORY BECRAFT

It is with our deepest sympathies that we announce the death of
one of our members. Emory passed away on January 31st and he
will be greatly missed. Please keep his family and friends in your
thoughts and prayers…..
